Mason County 7th Grade Tech Day

Chamber Alliance of Mason County will be offering “Tech Day” for all 7th Grade students in Mason County on Wednesday, September 18 on the campus of West Shore Community College. Half of the county’s 7th graders will attend in the morning and the other half in the afternoon. There will be activities and demonstrations for students on several different technology tools, including drones, robotics, virtual reality, e-sports, ROVs and other tech toys. There will be programming on internet safety, cybersecurity and career pathways using featured technology. Students will receive a “Passport to Tech Careers” that will have a compilation of related careers for each station that students can take home to continue the conversation.
